I'm reading The Feminist Memoir Project, edited by Rachel Blau Duplessis and Ann Snitow, with the book club that meets at A.I.R. Gallery in Chelsea.  I recently saw the collection of art by women

at The Brooklyn Museum Sackler Center,  and in New York I've been going to an number of women's groups and seeing lectures by women who have made a difference for women like me to Be Ourselves.

As I make paintings ongoing here, the work tells me what I'm thinking, rather than the other way around.  Since the OneGRRLGal show, it's become an imperative for me ... as Claudia says, Anyhoooo --
