On my web you will see work made in New York, in Toronto and on Toronto Island, in France’s Dordogne, Lyon, and Paris, in England’s Dorset, Cornwall, and London. My work is situational, in painting, etching and video, made live, interacting with places, people, sounds, and time. In 2015 I curate at Ceres Gallery Chelsea in New York, with seven artists _WhatWePrintAboutWhenWePrintAboutLove_ (curator’s essay). In 2014 I won Best in Show for watercolor at the New York National Arts Club. 2013 I was accepted for drypoint at the London Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. I was given a scholarship to exhibit in The Artist Project (press) where reviewer Patrick Donohue said “As a diehard lover of watercolours, I was thrilled to see the exuberant works by Katherine Dolgy Ludwig... Painted as if in bursts of ecstasy, without a lot of attention to detail or realism, the works convey ingenuous joy in the beauty of gardens and flowers.”
